The price of non-emergency medical transport depends on three things: distance, the mode of transport (seated, wheelchair or stretcher), and the waiting time on site.

01

What affects the price?

The distance travelled, the mode of transport, and the length of time the vehicle is held for you.

02

Why does stretcher transport cost more than seated transport?

It requires more equipment on board, and often two people for the transfer.

03

Is waiting time billed?

When the vehicle stays on site during an appointment, that waiting time is part of the transport and appears in the quote.

04

How do I get an exact price?

Call with both addresses, the date, and the mode of transport. The quote is free.

05

Is it cheaper than an ambulance?

Non-emergency transport is for a stable person whose trip can be planned in advance, which costs less than an emergency service. For an emergency, call 911.
